So often we dismiss and ignore our deeper longings because they seem impossible or too painful to bear. But so much healing and forward movement can come if we listen. Hearing these brings release and empathy and even more connects us to our deeper values and truths… forces that may have been moving and living in you for years. Forces that can be expressed and brought alive.

And then my dear grandchild pops up in front of me her little body jumping up and down, and I am immediately drawn in alongside her…excitement …..
Tugging at my sleeve…
“Grandma, can we go in your van ?.

This was just what I needed Peter. In these strangely hot days, I've been longing for our planet and all beings on it to be OK - for our leaders to take action - for us all to come together to save the world. Acknowledging that longing and allowing that hurt to be here, and the tears to be here, was very comforting.
